My name is Wade Legrone and I am the President of the Alabama Technology Members Association for 2013. I would like to extend a personal invitation to each of you to visit one of our monthly meetings. The Birmingham Chapter meets monthly for great lunches and presentations, as well as informal discussions. Our members are employed in a wide variety of disciplines within the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries. The great diversity of this membership provides for a truly dynamic environment for the exchange of ideas and information, as well as an extensive basis from which to build wide-reaching professional networks.

ATMA Meeting Dates for 2013



 “The Modern Phone System” 

 

 If you want to be a modern company, you should communicate like one! Many of us are living in a post-cubicle world. We work from home, airplanes, hotels and coffee shops.Mobile technologies have untied us from our desks, but traditional office phone systems remain tethered.  Modern phone systems enable work from anywhere and keep company unity intact. This one comes with an acid test. If you can’t use a desk phone, softphone or mobile phone to transfer a call to a co-worker,even if you're not in the office, you're not using a modern phone system! Come connect and interact with CRI and ATMA as we discuss the reality of the change in business communication and what the future of your company’s phone system looks like!
